The Wedding Weekend
Monday, September 15 - Sunday, September 21, 2025
We decided to get married in Africa and we want you to join us!
This year, we decided to forgo a traditional, extravagant wedding and instead invest in something that feels more meaningful for us—a home.

To celebrate our union, we will be having a small, private ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio, this July. But the celebration doesn’t stop there! In September, we’ll be hosting an Amazigh (Berber) wedding in Tunisia. Jenna’s father is from Tunisia and his family is Amazigh—the indigenous people of North Africa. Jenna wants to honor her roots and share the beauty of her heritage.
We’re excited to invite everyone who’s received an invitation to join us in Tunisia for this special celebration. We’ve arranged accommodations and will also provide a guide to help everyone explore the country. If you're interested in attending, please sign up below!

Things To Do
Traveling to a new country can be intimidating, especially when you're unsure of what to expect. To ease the experience, we made sure to plan group visits to the must-see attractions in Djerba, Tunisia. With a well-organized itinerary, you can fully immerse yourself in the local culture while exploring the best sights. Check out the list of events here to make the most of your trip!
Our Love
Story
Aldo and Jenna met on Bumble (an online dating site). They officially “matched” on February 13, 2019 and immediately had numerous, lengthy phone calls. They instantly had a connection and conversation flowed naturally. That weekend, Aldo and Jenna decided to meet at the Root Cafe in Lakewood, Ohio and the rest is history!
Eight months later, Jenna and Aldo decided to adopt a puppy, “Zion” to join their small family. Although Jenna’s cats Banjo and Cooper weren’t thrilled, raising a puppy together brought so much love and goofiness into their house. As huge nature and animal lovers, Jenna and Aldo love to hike with Zion and go on many adventures together. Exploring is one of their favorite things to do and has encouraged many travel memories they hold dearly in their heart. Some trips include, Hawaii, Redwood National Park, Crater Lake National Park, the Everglades, and Paris!

In December 2023, Jenna and Aldo went to look at engagement rings. It only took a few moments for Jenna to find that perfect” Cinderella fit”; a classic teardrop ring and they knew it was meant to be. A few hours later Aldo officially proposed on December 23, 2023.

In May of 2024, Aldo and Jenna traveled to Tunisia in North Africa so that Aldo could meet Jenna’s family. Jenna’s father is from Tunisia and his family still resides on the island of Djerba. Honoring her roots (Berber/Amazigh) the ethnic group indigenous to North Africa, Jenna and Aldo celebrated their engagement in a traditional ceremony where they were surrounded by family and enthralled in the culture.

And so, as they begin their next chapter as a couple, Aldo and Jenna’s story continues to unfold with all the adventure that first brought them together. Their wedding will be a beautiful reflection of their journey—one where they celebrate their love for each other, their family and friends, and the shared life they’ve built together.
Let's Plan a Trip!
Traveling to a new country can be a bit intimidating, especially when navigating unfamiliar customs and surroundings. To make things easier for you, we've taken the time to plan out places to stay, arranged drivers to take you to various must-see sites, and organized group travel events to help you explore the best of Djerba, Tunisia. However, while we’ve made these arrangements to ensure a smooth experience, you’re absolutely free to choose your own path. You’re welcome to skip the group events and explore on your own terms, taking full responsibility for your visit if that’s what you prefer.
The individuals who will be accommodating you throughout your stay are close friends and family, and we kindly ask that you tip them, as many of them will be missing work to assist during this time.
